Authentic's Brands Celebrate Pride Month

June marks Pride Month, an annual commemoration to honor LGBTQIA+ pioneers and contributors who fought for equality through art, culture, civic action and more. This year, Authentic's portfolio of brands show support through equitable partnerships, charitable donations and other philanthropic initiatives.

Brooks Brothers Kicks Off Pride Month With GLSEN

Marking the third year of its partnership with GLSEN, Brooks Brothers is donating 100% of the proceeds from sales of its limited-edition Pride tees and Oxford shirts to the nonprofit, which is dedicated to ensuring inclusive school environments for LGBTQIA+ youth.

Brooks Brothers and GLSEN also held their third annual Pride event at the brand's store in New York City’s Hudson Yards. Complete with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a DJ, the event included a virtual fireside chat, moderated by Brooks Brothers CEO Ken Ohashi and featuring special guests GLSEN Executive Director Melanie Willigham-Jaggers, actor Claybourne Elder and Brooks Brothers Creative Director Michael Bastian.

Nautica Partners With The Trevor Project on Its Pride Campaign

Through June, Nautica is donating 50% of sales from its Pride collection to The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention organization for LGBTQIA+ youth. The brand has also partnered with dancer and activist Mark Kanemura, senior entertainment reporter and host of digital news outlet What's Trending Andy Lalwani, transgender activist and entertainer Corey Rae, photographer and photojournalist Maxwell Poth and Team USA gymnast Josh Dixon to help raise awareness for the nonprofit’s cause.

Reebok Celebrates Pride With Gender-Neutral Collection

For Pride, Reebok has launched "Unity by Reebok," comprising gender-neutral footwear and apparel designed for the athlete in every body. During June, the brand will also donate $15,000 to the Whittier Street Health Center’s LGBTQ Youth Wellness Program.

Lucky Brand Pledges Donation and Shares Stories of Pride

Along with The Trevor Project, Lucky Brand is inviting followers to join its mission to help cultivate a more inclusive world with hashtag #StoriesOfPride. The brand has also committed to donating $300,000 to the nonprofit, along with Nautica, Forever 21 and Aéropostale.

Eddie Bauer Drops New Pride Merch

Eddie Bauer has tapped LGBTQIA+ advocate Mikah Meyer to design limited-edition pins and stickers featuring the symbol of his nonprofit, Outside Safe Space, which promotes representation and inclusivity of LGBTQIA+ people and allies in outdoor spaces.

Ted Baker Launches Proud of Pride Giving Campaign

Throughout June, customers can donate to nonprofit Rainbow Railroad at Ted Baker stores in the U.S. and Canada through its “Proud of Pride” campaign. Since 2006, the organization has helped LGBTQIA+ individuals find safety through emergency relocation services. 

Hervé Léger Designs Exclusive Pride-Inspired Dress

Hervé Léger has designed an exclusive, rainbow dress for Pride Month. For every dress sold, the brand is donating 10% of the purchase price to The Phluid Phoundation, which supports trans-led organizations and homeless queer youth.

Thalia Empowers LGBTQIA+ Youth on "It Gets Better" Podcast 

Thalia Sodi joined RuPaul Drag Race contestant Valentina for the “It Gets Better” Pride campaign, the world’s largest effort to equip LGBTQIA+ youth with media programming and educational resources. The two spoke about empowering LGBTQIA+ youth.
