Authentic Takes Over the 96th Annual Academy Awards

Hollywood’s most acclaimed superstars descended upon the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles over the weekend for the 96th annual Academy Awards. Some of the world’s top actors and actresses, directors and more film industry leaders graced the red carpet with meticulously designed Judith Leiber minaudières and timeless pieces by Brooks Brothers and Neil Lane Couture.

PRE-OSCARS WEEKEND

Ahead of the grand event on Sunday evening, stars stepped out at a number of pre-Oscars festivities. Award-winning creative director and costume designer June Ambrose was seen at the ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood event, completing her look with Judith Leiber’s Camera Click clutch. Actress Tika Sumpter dazzled in Hervé Léger’s Look 18 of its spring ‘24 collection at the MACRO Pre-Oscars Party.

“Barbie” actress and Oscar nominee America Ferrera made a statement in a shimmering pink ensemble, complete with the Classic Slim Slide clutch, while the film’s writer and director, Greta Gerwig, paired her chainmail-like dress with the Envelope Squares classic bag.

The Perry Crystal clutch was a popular choice, as Canadian-American actress Sandra Oh carried one at her side to match her sequined dress. Actress Octavia Spencer completed her three-piece tuxedo with the same silhouette in black. Model Molly Sims also made a standout appearance and complemented her gown’s oversized chain with a clutch in silver.

Television personality and airline pilot Peter Weber shined on the red carpet in a white Brooks Brothers tuxedo shirt, while TV host Ross Mathews sported the Classic Fit Velvet 1818 Dinner Jacket for his “Rosscar” segment on The Drew Barrymore Show.

What’s more, actor William Belleau and film producer Alex Mechanik sparkled with Neil Lane Couture on the red carpet.

A number of Oscars afterparties featured glamorous looks and eccentric accessories. Dancer Julianne Hough was photographed with the sophisticated Gemma Crystal clutch by Judith Leiber, and over at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Molly Sims swapped her Perry Crystal with a dazzling Specchio clutch in gold. Meanwhile, actress Sydney Sweeney channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe, sporting an elegant white dress inspired by the Authentic icon.
